Artist's Comments

This was inspired by two things, one typical depictions of the Kemetic god Thoth show him holding a pen and writing tablet... and I always thought it kind of looked like he was playing with an mp3 player, palm piolt, etc. Also earlier this month in a spell I evoked his wisdom for help with a final exam, in a math class I was struggling hard in. Seeing how I did well on the exam I suppose I owe him something, so vola!

Ever since we first read about egypt in like... 4th grade... Thoth's always been my favorite.

Somehow, it seems typical of him. (no offense to anyone up there!) With the coming of the modern age, he'd probably loves all gagetry an' stuff. I can just imagine the weird looks Anubis would give him O_o;;

Face it, the egyptian gods beat all. XD way cooler than the greeks.
