This is Tabbicus, 's polydactyl tabby cat fursona, done up in the Animalia style. A polydactyl to me seems like a perfect match for some unusual scenery, costuming, and weapons. Tabbi's character is one of the native Islander pirates you might find in the Islamaxtas region, thus his theme is a mix of colonial and American Indian motifs. His coat is something I got off of a drawing of an Iriquois chef in colonial dress. He also carries a special long-handled tomahawk that doubles as a pipe, though the weapon probably was just for decoration I can see this thing being quite effective in combat because of it's reach. In his other hand he's carrying a wheel-lock musket I may, or may not, include in the game. The background is supposed to be the inside of a pirate ship's cabin. This guy is such a peacock that, well, he has to be the captain right? This was a lot of fun to draw btw
You are doing a good job on this "Animalia." It looks like you did a lot of research for every style and region.
Oh, as usual, the picture is great!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
